Valentines Day Garlic Bread

I'm not great with romantic anythings, but food I can do. So this valentines I made heart shaped garlic bread. I recommend this garlic bread for any occasion though.

For the Dough
1 tbsp active dry yeast
1 Cup Hot water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
3 Cups of Flour
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey

In a mixing bowl whisk the yeast & the honey with 1/2 cup of hot water, let sit for 10 minutes until yeast dissolves.

When dissolved, add the salt, garlic powder, olive oil, 1/2 cup of hot water, 3 cups of flour and mix with a wooden spoon. Place the dough onto a clean lightly floured working space. Kneed into a ball and place into a mixing bowl. Cover the dough lightly with olive oil and cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Leave until doubled in size, about an hour to an hour and a half.

Assemble the Fingers
2 Cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 Cup Melted Garlic Butter
2 Oz Olive Oil

When the dough is almost ready, preheat the oven at 425f. Shred the cheese, and melt the garlic butter in a small pot or in the microwave.

On a well greased (2Oz Olive Oil) circular baking sheet, pat the dough down until covering. Brush the melted garlic butter overtop the dough, add the shredded cheese. Then drizzle some garlic butter overtop the cheese.

Bake on a low rack on 425f for 7-9 minutes. Then remove from oven. Turn your oven to broil, and place the fingers directly on the middle rack. Leave on broil until the cheese turns golden brown (mine took 4-5 minutes).

Cut up and Enjoy!
